Mont Co. Firms Receive Energy-Efficiency Grants, Godshall Says

Rep. Robert Godshall (R-Montgomery) announced today that three firms in his legislative district will receive state grants to promote energy efficiency. 

“The grants, which stem from the Alternative Energy Investment Act of 2008, will reimburse selected small businesses across the Commonwealth for 25 percent of the cost of energy-saving upgrades up to $25,000,” said Godshall.   

EZNERGY of Lansdale will be awarded $7,500 to upgrade its heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.  Rex Heat Treat – Lansdale Inc. will receive $7,500 toward its lighting upgrade project, and A.M. Goshow & Son Inc. of Souderton will receive a grant of $6,800 for energy-efficient lighting upgrades.     

The Commonwealth will award $1.2 million in Small Business Energy Efficiency Grants to 202 for-profit businesses in Pennsylvania that have 100 employees or fewer.
