Major Grant Awarded to MontCo Manufacturer, Godshall Says
Rep. Robert Godshall (R-Montgomery) announced today that CeeLite Technologies, LLC of Hatfield Township has received an Alternative and Clean Energy program grant totaling $494,574 to bring its manufacturing operation and jobs to Montgomery County.
The grant was awarded through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), which approved the grant at a meeting earlier today.
CeeLite Technologies, LLC will move its manufacturing operation in Taiwan to a 10,000 square foot facility at 55 Bethlehem Pike in Hatfield Township, where it will commercialize, manufacture and distribute CeeLite Light Emitting Capacitor (LEC) lighting technology.
“It is promising to see manufacturers and jobs moving from Taiwan to Pennsylvania,” said Godshall. “CeeLite Technologies is expected to create about 100 new jobs at the Hatfield plant over the next three years, and it will be producing clean and efficient lighting products for the U.S. and other markets.”
According to the CFA, LEC lighting is more energy efficient than LED and fluorescent tube lighting.
