Montgomery Theater Receives State Grant, Godshall Says

Rep. Robert Godshall (R-Montgomery) said Montgomery Theater in Souderton will receive a $5,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA).

“This is great news in light of the fact that arts funding was cut by 24 percent in the recent state budget,” said Godshall. “The PCA said it was able to hold funding reductions for most grantees to 14 percent by cutting back, and eliminating or suspending other programs.

“I am pleased to announce that this important funding will be available to Montgomery Theater during these tough economic times,” Godshall said.
