Plan a Trip to PA Attractions with New ‘Happy Traveler’ Guide, Godshall Says
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Tourism Office has released its annual “Happy Traveler” vacation guide to help residents and visitors plan a perfect summer vacation or weekend getaway, said Rep. Robert Godshall (R-Montgomery).

The guide features information about the 150th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright’s birth and encourages travelers to visit one of his iconic properties in Pennsylvania — Fallingwater, Duncan House and Kentuck Knob. Additionally, the guide features 11 new “Happy Day Road Trips,” one in each of the state’s distinct tourism regions, providing visitors a one-stop shop for even more of Pennsylvania’s best unique stops and only-in-PA attractions.

Other new initiatives aimed at boosting Pennsylvania’s tourism industry focus on the use of social media. They include “PA Happy Chats,” a live question-and-answer session hosted on the Visit PA Facebook page, and Instagram #HappyHost Takeovers that feature live “takeovers” of the visit PA Instagram channel by representatives of top PA attractions.

The travel guide is available digitally, or free printed copies can be requested at
